Joy is an advocate for body movement and its positive impact on mental health. As a registered counsellor and kinesiologist who specializes in sleep and stress management, Joy is passionate about exploring the body-mind connection with clients. By observing how muscles respond to various stimuli, she can detect imbalances or blockages in the body’s nervous systems and energy pathways.

Joy has been a swing dancer for over 15 years and has found that pilates has been instrumental in injury prevention, body awareness, control, and coordination. At Anhao, Joy joins a tribe of like-minded instructors who are passionate about learning, exchanging ideas, and growing together. Throughout her classes, Joy strives to create a safe and nurturing space for her students to move and gain insight about themselves, no matter their background.
