Magdalen has been practicing yoga and mat Pilates since she was 12. She began her practice with reformer Pilates when she first started taking classes at Anhao which, she quickly fell in love with and have since taken the chance to study it through the STOTT system in hopes to share the benefits of Pilates with others.
Fitness is Magdalen’s favourite form of self-care, as she enjoys the positive impact it has on mental health, as well as the physical benefits of regular exercise. Magdalen believes Pilates offers an effective workout that is suitable for everyone with all fitness levels, from athletes to people with limited mobility or pregnant women. It ensures focus and connection to the mind and body through slow, controlled movements by targeting small muscle groups and lengthening each muscle to build endurance and strength.
