Our Beginners class is ideal if you’re new to ANHAO Pilates – or to any kind of Pilates – haven’t exercised in a while, or are looking to refine and practice your technique at a gentler pace.
No basic are required to practice those classes.
The Beginners Class provides the ideal environment to become familiar with the Reformer and to learn and practice those techniques.
The workout is a bit more intense. You can enjoy our own resistance of springs and choose your pace. Expect significantly more variety – with hundreds of exercises for your Trainer to choose from, no two classes will ever be the same.
You’ll quickly see new levels again of core strength, flexibility, and aerobic fitness. Your posture will improve; you’ll stand taller and straighter, and your physique will become leaner and more toned.
Whilst much of the Beginners Class is focused on learning and understanding the equipment and techniques, the Intermediate Class is a definite ‘change-up’, with the emphasis firmly on results.
To attend, you should already have seen some improvement in your core strength and flexibility. You should also be comfortable with the Reformer, understand how the core muscles work, and be able to activate them correctly.
If you want to improve your range of motion and flexibility safely, this is the option for you! Working with resistance springs from the reformer, you have the option to not only work with your own body weight, but also other levels of resistance, helping you develop strength to supplement your flexibility, so as to ensure stability in the process.
You will play with your trump and learn how to jump from small to full range. You will increase your mobility and coordination awareness by jumping on a fun and playful trump.
Many cardiovascular new workouts to add values with your regular the Beginners and all levels Reformer classes. By jumping horizontally there is no gravity involved. Your pelvic floor and perinea muscles have no impact and gain only strength. Per consequence Enjoy!
If you’re enjoying your ANHAO Pilates Classes, but want to add some new dimensions to your training, this could be the class for you. By adding a Jumpboard to our Reformer beds, we can introduce a range of plyometric training moves to challenge muscles in new ways. The other advantage of the class is its cardiovascular aspect; an hour of non-stop Jumpboard exercises will give you a thorough cardio workout. And whatever your level, you’ll definitely know you’ve been working out afterwards.
The change of routine is a great way to help you push past any plateaus in your training, while the extra variety will help keep you interested and motivated. This is not a class for complete beginners; you should have a few classes under your belt, be reasonably body-aware, and be looking to work harder and push yourself further.
